4mo old check up

^{Hello fellow parents! Today Mad his 4 month check up visit. Since switching his primary doctor I visits take about an hour and a half but thats okay to make sure he is okay. His weight is good they said, he is now 12lbs & 3.8oz and they say that he is a little behind where the “normal” baby is but that he is gaining weight better than he was so we’re to keep doing what we are. He was not happy at all this visit as it was nap time and then he was disturbed with a bright room and having to get naked for the doctors and he did NOT like the shots at the end but that is normal for babies as you know if you are a parent 🙂 Today I want to also bring up the topic of information you give to your doctor. Obviously everyone will have different views so I ask for respectfulness but did you tell your doctors everything to a T or did you kinda bend a little? My opinion on this topic is to honesly do whatever you feel is best! No parent or baby is exacly the same and it is up to you to figure out yourself and your baby, I personally definetely listen to the doctors and take their advice and some parents may just say F doctors opinions, you do youuu but if what you and your baby are experiencing is different than the “normal” but your doctor is persistent on them not being up to “normal standards” and how you need to do things then say OKAY! and just live your life to be honest. As stated Max is 4 months old and weighs 12lbs & 3.8oz he is currently sleeping a bit longer at “night”, we have our own weird sleep schedule and I know there will be opinions on that too but that is a topic for another day but he eats about 6oz every fourish hours and will soon probably up to 7oz. He is starting to pay attention to foods when we eat and has had amazing neck control for awhile so doc said the only other thing they usually wait for is for him to stop having that reflex to push things out of his mouth which is usually closer to 6 months old but I was told if we want we can start introducing him to soft/puree foods or we can wait a month or two. bnm,lp.,nkolhk7[;kp’=]\}
